Forest Planning Overview
The talk considers the reasons for doing forest planning - beyond just thinking about what should be done. Important reasons include communicating within and outside the organization, establishing credibility, and creating a framework for accountability. It then considers how to organize the planning process to ensure these objectives are achieved as fully as possible.
